It’s “O.C.,” not “The O.C.”

One of the modern corruptions of language from TV came from that show, “The O.C.,” which I never saw and now thankfully has been canceled.

The title wrongly is The O.C. Nobody ever used that phrase, with “the,” until the show started.

In reality, it’s just O.C. No “the.”

Mainly I’ve heard people I call around the country refer to it the wrong way. But even some locals have been infected. The silly show wasn’t even filmed here.

Now, let’s get back to the right pronunciation. This is O.C.

And Hollywood can’t take it from us.
